The Ancient house for guests "Dragolovata kashta" is located in the beautiful town of Kalofer (map) situated in the Balkan mountain. The house is built according to a typical XIX-th century Bulgarian architectural style. The house preserves many objects that represent Bulgarian customs and way of life. A unique 10 metre high column of black granites (ashlar) holds the whole house. There is no other such a construction known in Bulgaria.

There are pine woods near the hotel and the garden is full of flowers. The pub / tavern has 20 seats and you can enjoy traditional Bulgarian dishes here. There are wonderful sites to visit in the town as well as the mountain. The hotel 'Dragolovata kashta' offers you an atmosphere perfect for rest which can turn you back in time.

Donka Kodjeykova, who is keeping this beautiful old house, has been in the tourist business for long years. She managed the camping 'White River' standing 3 km. from Kalofer, on the road Sofia - Bourgas.
